Elfsight widgets: Instagram feed, Google reviews and popups

Your Instagram is full of great food photos, and your Google reviews say nice things about you. Elfsight widgets bring both onto your website, where they keep themselves up to date. A popup can also greet visitors with an offer or a signup.

What you can add

  • Instagram feed on your home page: your latest posts, updating on their own.
  • Google Reviews feed on your home page: your best reviews, as social proof right where new visitors land.
  • Popup on your site: a welcome offer, a newsletter signup, or a holiday ordering notice.

Setting one up

  1. Create a free or paid account at elfsight.com and build the widget there: pick the layout, colors and content.
  2. Copy the widget's ID from Elfsight's install code.
  3. In your admin, go to Manage Site > Integrations, and click Manage Elfsight Instagram Feed, Manage Elfsight Google Reviews Feed or Manage Elfsight Popup.
  4. Paste the ID, tick Active, and click Update.

The change needs a site publish; the page tells you, and the publish runs on our side. Refresh your site afterwards to see the widget.

Change the look any time in Elfsight; your site picks it up without another publish.

  • Use the popup for one message at a time, and change it with the season: "First order? 15% off" in January, "Order holiday trays by the 20th" in December.
  • Ask happy customers for a Google review. The feed makes every one of them work twice.
