Partners: show off the farms, gyms and friends you work with

The farm that grows your greens. The gym whose members love your meals. The local coffee roaster you team up with. Showing your partners tells visitors you are part of the community, and gives your partners a little love back.

Where partners show

Partners appear in their own section on your home page, under the heading Our Partners & Associations. Each partner shows its logo, its name (linked to its website) and a short description. Your site needs its home page switched on for the section to appear. See The page editor: your pages, links and navigation.

Turning it on

Partners come with the Content: Partners feature, listed on the Features page. Content > Partners then appears in the sidebar.

Adding a partner

  1. Go to Content > Partners and click New Partner.
  2. Enter the Public Name and click Add & Edit.
  3. Add a Public Description: a sentence or two on who they are and how you work together.
  4. Add the partner's website as the URL Link, and the URL Text if you want words other than the address.
  5. Pick their logo from your Image Library. Upload it there first. See How to add and manage images.
  6. Tick Active and Show on home page, then click Update.

To remove a partner, open it, untick Active and click Update. To keep a partner but take it off your home page, untick Show on home page.

Make it yours

The section heading is site copy. Change "Our Partners & Associations" to something like "Where our ingredients come from" or "Proud to fuel". See Other content: edit the words on your site.

Ideas

  • Suppliers: farms, bakeries, butchers. "Local" is a reason to buy.
  • Fitness partners: gyms, trainers, run clubs. Their members are your customers.
  • Pickup locations: a café or studio that hosts your pickup point.
  • Causes: the food bank or school program you support.

Ask each partner to link back to your site. It helps both of you get found in search.

Who can edit

The Staff role or higher can add, edit and remove partners.

Keywords: sponsors, local farms
