How to find a customer
Whether you have a name, an email, a phone number or just a street, you can find a customer in seconds. Here is every way to do it, quickest first.
By customer number
Go to Customers > All Customers. At the top, type the number in the Customer number box and click Open. The customer opens, even if the account is disabled. This ignores whatever filters are set on the page.
Lookup / Manage: the quick way to one customer
Under Customers, click Lookup / Manage and type part of a name, an email or a phone number in the one customer box (at least 3 characters). Pick the match to open their management page, with their orders, plans, payments, credits, emails and Account Assistance in one place.
The Customers dashboard: many customers, or a finer search
To find a group of customers, or to search by address, go to Customers > All Customers and show the filters. Search by first or last name, any part of the email, phone, or street, city, state or zip, and combine them. A phone number matches on its digits, so spacing and dashes do not matter. The Address and Deliverable columns show each customer's primary address and whether your site delivers there.
From an order
Every order shows the customer's name as a link. Click it to open the customer.
