Your Eat Fresh billing page: plan, invoices, SMS credits and payments
One page holds the business side of your site: your Eat Fresh plan, your invoices and card, your SMS credits, and the payment processor your customers pay through. Find it under Manage Site > Billing.
Your Eat Fresh plan
- Getting started. Click Create Billing Account, add your details (the billing address is optional), and you return to the page. Then click Select a Plan, compare the plans side by side, and pick the one that fits. Higher plans unlock more features and lower the usage fee. Details are on eatfresh.tech/pricing.
- Your status. Once you have a plan, the page shows it with its status, in green when all is well.
- Payment due. If a payment is due, the plan turns red with the amount, and a notice at the top offers a button to settle it right there.
The page opens straight away with a saved copy of your billing details and refreshes it in the background. When that copy is more than a few minutes old, a small line says how old it is, such as "Updated 12 minutes ago." If billing cannot be reached for a moment, the line says that too; reload the page in a minute.
Compare and change your plan
Under Your plan and the others, your plan sits beside every other plan, marked Your plan, so you can see at a glance what each one brings.
- You would add lists what moving to that plan gives your site.
- You would lose lists the features your site uses that the plan does not include.
- Custom lists features set up for your site beyond its plan.
- Legacy marks a plan that is not offered for sale. Moving off it can take away features, and each plan lists what your site would lose.
To move, click Upgrade, Downgrade or Switch on the plan you want, then Continue. If the move takes away features you use, the confirmation says how many first. You then confirm the change and any price difference on our billing page and come back to this one. The change applies to the subscription you already have, it does not start a second one. Billing Portal
Click Open Portal to update your card and billing details, view and select add-ons, and download invoices.
SMS credits
Pre-pay for text message credits and save. The SMS section lists the credit packs, each with its discount and savings; click Buy on the one you want. It appears once you have a card on file.
- Credits roll over and do not expire while your account is in good standing.
- A negative balance is billed at the standard rate.
- Bill After Bulk Send decides whether a bulk text can go out when your credits run short. See The Messaging dashboard: SMS on/off, credits and sends.
Payments Processor
The processor your customers pay through, usually Stripe, with its processing fee and the Eat Fresh usage fee.
- Connect creates or links your account so you can take payments. After you connect, we verify the account, and the page says so until it is done.
- Open Dashboard takes you straight to your processor's dashboard for payouts and disputes.
- View All Processors shows every processor set up for your site.
