How to bulk edit meals and pricing

Prices going up across the board? Setting one price for a whole category? The bulk editor does it in a couple of clicks, with a safety net, instead of an afternoon of editing meals one by one.

Turning it on

The bulk editor lives on the Meals dashboard behind a Bulk Actions switch. Enable with the Admin Bulk Meal Actions toggle on the Features page.

Changing prices

  1. On the Meals dashboard, switch on Bulk Actions.
  2. Filter and select the meals you want. For example, filter to one category and select all.
  3. In the bulk actions bar at the bottom of the screen, under Price, choose Set to $, Increase by $, Decrease by $, Increase by % or Decrease by %, and enter the amount.
  4. Click Preview. A confirm lists every meal it will touch with the old and new price side by side. Click Apply, and you get a summary of what changed.

Your safety net

Every Apply first downloads a spreadsheet file (CSV) of the values before the change. If a bulk edit was not what you meant, you have the old numbers to check or put back.

Other bulk actions

  • Inactivate switches the selected meals off, and Remove from Always On takes them off every menu.
  • Remove from Menu asks you to pick the menus in the Menus filter first, so it only touches the menus you chose.
  • The bar stays at the bottom of the screen while you scroll, so a long list is fine.
