Site Theme and Site Images: make the site look like you

Your site should feel like your kitchen, not like a template. Two pages under Manage Site and Images set its colors and its pictures.

Manage Site > Site Theme: your colors

The top of the page shows your Current Theme with a swatch for each color. A star marks a color you have changed from the theme.

Preset Themes is the fast way to a fresh look. Page through the presets, pick one, and confirm. Its colors load into the Theme Colors section for you to review. Nothing changes on your site until you click Save Changes, so try a few.

Theme Colors is for fine-tuning. The colors come in groups:

  • Base Colors: Base Dark, Base Alt, Base Light, Base Light Alt. Backgrounds and text.
  • Primary: Primary and Primary Alt. Your main brand color, on buttons and highlights.
  • Secondary: Secondary, Secondary Light, Secondary Dark.
  • Accent: Accent and Complimentary. Small touches that stand out.

Pick a color with the color picker, or type a hex code such as #2E7D32. The reset arrow next to a color takes it back to the theme's own value. When you are happy, click Save Changes; Reset throws away what you have not saved. Saved colors reach your site within seconds. Refresh to see them.

Tip: take your primary color from your logo, keep the base colors calm, and use the accent sparingly.

Changing the theme needs the Manager or Owner role.

Images > Site Images: logos and key pictures

This page shows every image your site uses outside the meals, each with an Edit link:

  • Site Logo Image: your main logo.
  • Site Logo Nav Image, Site Logo Footer Image, Site Logo Label Image, Site Logo Slip Image: other versions of your logo for the header, the footer, meal labels and packing slips. Each uses the main logo until you set it. A simple one-color logo prints best on labels.
  • Site Favicon Image: the small icon in the browser tab. Use a square image.
  • Site Preview Image: the picture shown when someone shares a link to your site.
  • Home Banner BackgroundImage: the large picture behind your home page banner.
  • About images: the pictures on your About page.
  • Product Gift Card Image: the picture on your gift card page.
  • Site New Meal Image and Order Meal Tips Image.

To change one: upload the picture to the Image Library first, then click Edit next to the image, select it, and click Update. When the change is published, refresh to see it. The steps with pictures are in How to change your logo.
